Huang Lian Shang Qing Pian is a Chinese herbal formula traditionally used to clear Wind-Heat and Fire from the upper body.
Traditional actions in Chinese medicine:
- Clears Heat and drains Fire
- Disperses Wind-Heat
- Moves the bowels gently
Traditionally used for:
- Mouth sores and a sore, red throat
- Red, sore eyes or toothache from Heat
- Dry, infrequent stools with feeling hot
This is a strong cooling formula for short-term use. Not suitable during pregnancy or if you tend to feel cold with loose stools. See your dentist or GP if symptoms last more than a week.
