San Huang Pian ("Three Yellows") is named after its three main yellow herbs. In Chinese medicine it is traditionally used to clear Heat and Fire and to move the bowels.

Da Huang (Rhubarb, Rhei Radix)
Huang Qin (Scutellaria baicalensis)
Huang Lian (Coptis chinensis)
