Si Miao Wan (Four-Marvel Pill) is a classical Chinese formula traditionally used to clear Damp-Heat from the lower body.
Traditional actions in Chinese medicine:
- Clears Damp-Heat
- Strengthens the sinews and bones
- Supports the knees and legs
Traditionally used for:
- Warm, swollen and aching knees or joints
- Heavy, tired legs
- Joint discomfort that is worse in warm, humid weather
Ingredients: Huang Bai (Phellodendron), Cang Zhu (Atractylodes), Niu Xi (Achyranthes), Yi Yi Ren (Job's tears).
Not suitable during pregnancy. See your GP about hot, red, swollen joints, joint pain with a fever, or a joint you cannot put weight on.

Drains Damp-Heat, especially from the Lower Jiao and drains Kidney Fire.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu
Strongly dries Dampness, tonifies the Spleen, and clears Dampness from the Lower Jiao.
With Huang Bai, for pain, swelling, and weakness of the lower extremities or skin lesions due to Wind-Dampness.
Rx. Achyranthis Bidentatae Niu Xi
Invigorates the Blood, expels Blood Stasis, clears Damp-Heat in the Lower Jiao and regulates water metabolism.
Sm. Coicis Yi Yi Ren
Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness, strengthens the Spleen, expels Wind-Dampness and clears Damp-Heat.
