Suan Zao Ren Tang (Sour Jujube Seed Decoction) is a classical Chinese formula from the Jin Gui Yao Lue. Its main herb, Suan Zao Ren (Ziziphus seed), has been used in Chinese medicine for over 2,000 years to nourish the Heart and Liver and calm the mind.

Calms the Shen (mind)
Clears mild Heat from deficiency

Difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep
A restless, busy mind at night
Irritability and feeling on edge
Waking tired, with a dry mouth or throat
 
Ingredients: Suan Zao Ren (Ziziphus seed), Fu Ling (Poria), Zhi Mu (Anemarrhena), Chuan Xiong (Ligusticum), Gan Cao (Licorice).
